¡@ How can I remove mold and mildew on carpet and prevent their growth by simple steps?

Answer:

This problem is common in the tropical region, such as Hong Kong. It is because the high humidity in summer provides a suitable environment for mold to grow. Mold reproduce by producing tiny spores. Mold spores then waft through the indoor and outdoor air continually. When mold spores land on a damp spot indoors, they may begin growing and digesting whatever they are growing on in order to survive. There are molds that can grow on wood, paper, carpet, and foods. When excessive moisture or water accumulates indoors, mold growth will often occur, particularly if the moisture problem remains undiscovered or un-addressed.

To solve this problem, we would like to recommended our BioFixit Carpet Clean (spot) and the followings based on our extensive experiences:

Step 1. Removing mold and mildew stains on carpet
BioFixit Carpet Clean spot formulated with biosurfactants and harmless bacteria is effective in degrading the mold and mildew residue. To achieve this, simply spray the product via spray-hold 15-20 cm from the target area and then wipe with a clean, wet sponge or cloth.

Step 2. Preventing the growth of mold on carpet
We would suggest a special natural method for this purpose: mixing equal portion of vinegar and salt and then applying on the hot spot in which mold can be found at most of the time. This agent is mild but effective in killing the mold spores deep down in the carpet fiber.

Step 3. Controlling the humidity
Finally, use dehumidifier to control the indoor humidity in summer to eliminate the growth factor of mold - water.

Following the above simple steps, you will find that the mold and mildew will never appear in your surroundings again.
